So here is our original drawing of what we hoped for. Sorry for the roughness of it, I never claimed to be a pro at designing plans, lol.
And here is our progress so far! It may not be spectacular in the photo but it is a huge difference to us!

Our Porch Progress
From the moment we toured this house prior to purchasing we knew it needed a front porch. It has a rather steep roof line that just looked too massive to have a flat front. Plus I dread standing in the rain, holding a baby, carrying grocery sacks in the other hand, and fumbling for keys to the door.
